The MicroCosmic Oracle Release Party
Join us on July 12th, 2024 for the release party for Julia Y’s creation: The MicroCosmic Oracle. We’ll be hosting the Belltown Art Walk during the release party, and including multiple healers and readers throughout the day, as well.
After six years of painting, studying, and writing, Julia Y’s MicroCosmic Oracle is finally complete. Come celebrate with the artist at The Crystal Lounge as part of Belltown Art Walk.
The MicroCosmic Oracle is a 60 card divination deck written, designed, and illustrated by Julia Y, a mixed-media illustrator living in Seattle. The cards and accompanying 200 page guidebook immerse you in the symbolism and folklore of astrology, animals, and herbalism. It’s a love letter to nature, a path of self-discovery, and a learning tool for astrology all in one box.
Twenty of the 3-D mixed media paintings from the MicroCosmic Oracle are on display, and you can purchase your own first edition copy of the deck and get it signed by the artist.

ARTIST BIO:
Julia Y (she/they) is a Seattle illustrator who creates art using a unique process combining collaged fabric, acrylic paint, embroidery floss, and nails. This solo exhibition at The Crystal Lounge will feature 20+ of their paintings from the soon to be released MicroCosmic Oracle Deck. Each painting is inspired by astrology, geometry, folklore, herbalism, zoology, and science.

RAQUEL of SHINE’ BRIGHT TAROT (10am – 5pm):
Raquel is originally from Brazil born into a family with strong intuitive abilitiles & connections with ancestors on the other side. Raquel is a community herbalist offering herbal consultations, plant-based remedies, and workshops. She offers personalized card reading sessions in English, Spanish as well as Portuguese.
LYSA FEY of MOONCYCLE WELLNESS & ASTROLOGY (10am – 5pm)
Lysa is a Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Crystal Practitioner, Healing Touch Practitioner, Astrologer and Energy Alchemist. Lysa began their spiritual journey in 1995 after receiving their first tarot reading. Lysa specializes in Oracle Card Readings, Astrology Readings, Clearing, balancing and realigning chakras using reiki, healing touch, crystals, tuning forks and sound bowls. Lisa Fey has been personally chosen by Julia Y for the MicroCosmic Oracle release party.
GERARD of ALTARED ROOTS (5:30pm – 9pm)
Gerard is a full-spectrum doula, community herbalist and Tidewater conjurer providing divination, rootwork consultations, spiritual tools & charms, home blessings, consecration ceremonies, altar-building, and mentorship. Central to their vision is amplifying the voices and experiences of the most marginalized folx in society, reflecting my African and Indigenous heritage as well as their queer identity. They specialize in Osteomancy (Bone Throwing & Card Readings).
MADAME XIMON (5pm – 9pm)
Madame Ximon is an archetypal astrologer, Tarot reader, and oracle card reader, helping people see their inborn potentials more clearly and ease the stresses of growth, loss, and transition. Drawing from multiple wisdom traditions, they have studied and practiced divination arts for three decades, focusing on deeply transformational personal and relationship readings. They are also a visionary artist in multiple media, helping clients connect with astrology and divination through personalized imagery. Madame Ximon loves reading for first timers, and welcomes people of all ages and identities to come learn and grow with the help of the cards and stars. Madame Ximon has been personally chosen by Julia Y for the MicroCosmic Oracle release party.

At the Crystal Lounge, it is an important part of our mission to build and enmesh our communities with each other. Art, science, metaphysics, healing, geology, music… These all play a part in helping develop the healing pathways in both the micro and macrocosm.
