Bumblebee Jasper is a yellow, orange, gray and black stone which believe it or not, does not actually contain quartz. The name Jasper is a misnomer as it is actually a radially grown, fibrous calcite. The yellow is caused by sulfer, the white by Aragonite and the orange colors are from the minerals Orpiment and Realgar, AKA ruby of arsenic. The black staining is caused by Pyrite. Some specimens hace grey breccia as well. Associated with the sacral and solar plexus chakra, zodiac signs of Taurus and Leo and vibrating to the number 1, Bumblebee Jasper removes blockages to our emotional wellbeing.
