AGATE, BLUE LACE

Blue Lace Agate has a light blue and white banding pattern throughout its surface. Agates are minerals from the Quartz family. Blue Lace Agate is fairly uncommon and can be more expensive than other agates. Some specimens have a coating of tiny druzy crystals within or on top of the banding formations. It can be found throughout Africa and parts of Eastern Europe.
