AUGITE

pronunciation – Augite – “aw-jyte”

A crystal of creativity and teamwork, Augite complements the vibrations of sacred spaces. This mineral belongs to the Pyroxene group and fulfills several uses in healing and collaborative settings. Read on to learn more about Augite!

SPIRITUAL HEALING PROPERTIES OF AUGITE

Augite enhances sacred areas and healing spaces by generating a vibration that helps to promote spiritual growth and accept life changes. As a result, this crystal supports the release of lingering negative energy stored in the body after traumatic events while also learning from them. This process can in turn realign the user along their unique life path.

Augite also helps to create continuity and teamwork in group projects by motivating the participants to work towards the best outcome for everyone involved. This quality especially shines in the context of collaborative creative projects. Sometimes referred to as “the stone of the musician,” this crystal beautifully supports musicians and composers.

PHYSICAL HEALING PROPERTIES OF AUGITE

Augite benefits aging-related issues including osteoporosis and brittle bones. It also supports those with mineral deficiencies, especially calcium.

LORE & HISTORY

Augite derives its name from the Greek αυγή (“auge”) for “shine” or “luster,” in allusion to the appearance of its cleavage surfaces. It can be attributed to Abraham G. Werner, who named the mineral in 1792.
