Hollandite was renamed Ferrihollandite in 2012 by the International Mineralogical Association. It is the barium-iron endmember or the coronadite group, a black monoclinic mineral containing a ternary oxide of lead and manganese. Star Hollandite Quartz was first discovered in India & then in Madagascar. It is a rare and uncommon clear quartz with dots, sprays, stars or urchin-like shaped hollandite inclusions.
